HSU CHRISTIAN STANDARD REQUIREMENT FOR EMPLOYMENT Candidate must profess a Christian Faith, maintain membership in a local congregation, and respect the values and distinctives central to the historically Baptist values of HSU as reflected in the Universitys Statement of Faith.
SUMMARY This position is a full-time, 12-month administrative Principal Faculty appointment with teaching responsibilities. A Principal Faculty Member in the Physician Assistant Program is primarily responsible for course instruction and/or course coordination in the didactic and clinical phases of the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Course instruction and/or course coordination in the didactic and clinical phases of the program • Effective in the areas of course design, course delivery, and evaluation • Assist with clinical site and preceptor recruitment and evaluation • Instrumental in assisting the program and its students with meeting the programs Student Learning Outcomes and actively participate in student remediation
The Principal Faculty Instructor is guided by the Program Director in assisting the program with curriculum and program assessment and meeting the ARC-PA Standards of Accreditation.
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in cardiology and human gross anatomy instruction specifically within a laboratory setting.
