The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Ogden College of Science and Engineering at WKU invites applications for a full-time, temporary, nine-month, non-tenure-eligible faculty position at the rank of Instructor I, starting in August 2026. The appointment is for the 26-27 academic year (8/15/2026 - 05/15/2027), with potential of renewal dependent upon need/budget. As an instructor for our Quantitative Analysis Lecture and Lab (CHEM 330), the successful candidate will teach the lecture, and will interface with teaching assistants in the laboratory sections. They will also teach courses at the freshman and sophomore levels and serve on Department and University committees appropriate to their expertise and interest.

Job Requirements:

  • MS, MA, or PhD degree, including 18 hours of graduate chemistry hours
