Position Summary:

The Arlington Elementary School is seeking a paraprofessional/instructional aide to support students and teachers in multiple grade-levels. The paraprofessional is responsible for supporting the classroom teacher and students in activities directly related to education in the classroom.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate possesses a belief that all students are capable of learning. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the education and social development of students under the direction and guidance of general or special education teachers (remotely and/or in person)
• Providing support for students as determined by needs
• Assisting in administration of state/district wide assessments
• Implementing small group instruction as directed by the lead teacher, in a variety of content areas
• Maintaining confidentiality of student information
• Managing student behavior under the direction of lead classroom teacher
• Completing additional duties as assigned
• Substitute teach as needed

Pay Range

• $24.78 - $32.54
