Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Designer with Workday experience to develop and deliver high-quality training materials that support the implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of the Workday platform across our organization. The ideal candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), HR, IT, and business stakeholders to design engaging learning solutions tailored to user roles and business needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop instructional content, including e-learning modules, user guides, job aids, videos, and instructor-led training for Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Talent, etc.).

  • Partner with SMEs and Workday functional leads to translate complex processes into clear and engaging learning experiences.

  • Create training strategies aligned with business goals and Workday implementation phases (go-live, enhancements, upgrades).

  • Conduct training needs assessments and analyze learning effectiveness.

  • Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver content.

  • Maintain and update training content as Workday features and configurations evolve.

  • Facilitate live training sessions or webinars as needed.

  • Monitor and evaluate training outcomes through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, HR, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 3+ years of experience as an Instructional Designer, with 1+ year focused on Workday training and content development.

  • Strong understanding of Workday functionality, particularly in HCM, Recruiting, or Finance modules.

  • Proficiency in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).

  • Experience with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools.

  • Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday Pro certification or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working in Agile or project-based environments.

  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design standards.
