The Instructional Designer will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of training content. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough Training Needs Assessments and Audience Analyses to identify learning objectives and performance gaps, training participants, and delivery channels Design, develop and maintains comprehensive, 508-compliant instructional materials, including course summary sheets, learning objectives, course outlines, storyboards, video scripts, job aids, quick reference sheets, and other supporting documents for training deliverables Create online, interactive training materials in various formats, such as printable job aids, instructor-led (virtual and in-person), microlearning, videos, and eLearning courses Generate program interactive, SCORM-compliant webinars, microlearning and full-length eLearning courses in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia) Develop and administer a variety of assessments, including quizzes, tests, simulations, and practical exercises, to measure learner progress and comprehension. Analyze assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing learning outcomes Accurately track and document the progress of instructional design projects, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. Utilize project management tools to monitor timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, and provide regular updates to stakeholders on the status of development efforts Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure the accuracy and relevancy of learning materials.
