Required ? Minimum three (3) years classroom teaching experience.
Preferred ? Minimum three (3) years of classroom teaching experience in a public-school setting. Evidence of experience in leading colleagues in improving instructional practices. Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish

Technical: Must be able to use the district email system, Google platforms, Microsoft Office, and the district's attendance system. Must have strong technology skills.
Interpersonal: Must be able to have high levels of instructional expertise, integrity, honesty, credibility, and the courage to make difficult yet necessary decisions. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, students, businesses and community. Must have strong organization, communication, presenting, listening, writing and interpersonal skills; and a strong sense of teamwork. Must be able to cope with deadline pressures; make difficult decisions that impact the organization in a positive sense; work harmoniously with the community, students, parents, staff, and administration, etc.; communicate effectively with students, parents and staff; exhibit sound judgment in dealing with people; and follow directives given by Administration. Must also be a creative problem solver; and empathetic, humanistic and open-minded. Must be able to remain open to others' and contribute to a collaborative culture. Ability to interpret and use feedback to revise and improve programs.

Manual Dexterity: Work requires definite skilled and accurate physical operations requiring some close coordination performance.
Physical Effort: Work requires handling average-weight materials or equipment, but not for sustained periods.
Working Conditions: Some exposure to disagreeable elements may exist, i.e., temperature changes, use of steps/stairs, walking long distances throughout the building, etc. Must be able to travel within and outside the district. Must be available for evenings and non-work days, if needed. Must be available at times most convenient for teachers and administration, as needed
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time 180-Day union position. Monday through Friday. Exempt status.
EVALUATION: As defined by the Evaluation Schedule
SALARY RANGE: BA / Step 1: $47,123 - MA +45 / Step 8 - $63,094. Based on experience and education as defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
