General Qualifications for All Positions in this Range: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: One year of paid or volunteer experience working with elementary age children. Licensure/Certifications: Some positions will require employees to obtain within six (6) months of employment and maintain a first aid & CPR certificate. Additional State/Federal ESSA Requirements: IA employees must: -Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction, or -Pass the CBEST, or -Have completed two years of college (48 units), or -Possess an A. A. degree (or higher). . To help you prepare, please find the timeline for the next steps of our interview process below: Online Testing: Must be completed by August 7, 2026, by 8 AM. Video Interview (Step 1): Submission due by August 10, 2026, by 8 AM. Video Interview (Step 2): Scheduled for August 18, 2026, by 8 AM

Applicants with a complete application who meet the minimum qualifications will be invited to test. Applicants must pass the test to proceed in the recruitment process. If hired, the position requires a fingerprint background check by the DOJ/FBI. Monday-Friday, 17.5 hours per week, with morning and mid-school day shifts 3.5 hours per day / 5 Days per week (Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10:45 AM - 2:30 PM & Thursday 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM) Anticipated Site: Emery Elementary

  • CPR/First Aid Certification (Copy of CPR & First Aid Certificate or letter stating you will obtain a CPR & First Aid certificate within the first six months of employment)
  • Proof of HS Graduation
  • Resume
