Secure doors of rooms not in use. Promptly report all matters of security of immediate safety to Campus Public Safety. Promptly intervene with any OHSA violation or potential safety concern.Assist instructors with equipment set up.Provide good customer service by providing efficient service to staff and students.Assist new students to the operation of automotive program procedures utilized in the individualized instructional-technology labs.Monitor student activities in the automotive lab spaces.Monitor automotive labs as directed by supervisor.Check in and reissue automotive program equipment.Perform other essential functions as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.Department SpecificKnowledge Skills and AbilitiesIndividuals must possess these knowledge skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the duties and responsibilities of the job with or without reasonable accommodation using some other combination of skills and abilities. Position assignments may be assigned an alternate schedule to service the campus needs.Work is typically performed standing. While performing the duties of this job the employee can be required to sit use hands and fingers handle or feel objects tools or controls reach with hands and arms. Requires sufficient hearing and speech ability for ordinary telephonic conversations. Requires to write read written materials and computer screens and ability to use telephonic conversations.
