    As the Installation & Tool Coordinator, you will support the Customer and the Service team during the installation process of the equipment the custom purchased. This starts with preparing the customer for receiving the machine and ends with the sign-off on the installation by the customer.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and schedule installation dates of U.S. machines with the customer, technology service teams, sales, logistics.

    • Ensure all necessary resources for the installation are available when needed. (technician, tools, parts) Ensure the customer is ready for receiving the machine (pre-installation requirements e.g. floor, utility, access to the workspace)

    • Work closely with the technology scheduler to utilize service capacity efficient during the installation. Responsible for tracking the assigned installations regarding capacity shortages, delays, missing parts, efficiency, etc.

    • Maintain KPI’s of SYNCHRO installation times in SIS and track the deviation during the installation. Ensure proper communication during the installation with the customer to improve customer satisfaction rates, etc.

    • Support the technology Managers to evaluate field service engineers technical and soft skills for accurate assignments and training needs.

    • Report delays, quality issues to the installation / service management.

    • Work with the installation manager and other installation coordinators to develop tools for tracking and reporting and improving installations and the coordination of it.

    • In charge of managing the assigned installation toolboxes. (quality, quantity, calibration)

    • 10% of travel during training phases to learn the installation process.

    Experience

    Must have heavy call volume experience and a basic technical understanding. Prior scheduling knowledge preferred but not necessary. TRUMPF product knowledge helpful. Strong follow up skills mandatory. Minimum three years prior experience or equivalent in customer service/technical concentration is preferred.
