TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire a Hardware Installation Technician for a large-scale IT deployment project. This hands-on role will support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of technology equipment across hospitals, medical offices, and outpatient clinics throughout the Atlanta area.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for technicians with experience in hardware deployments, IT support, field service, or low-voltage installations who enjoy working in fast-paced environments and making a direct impact on healthcare operations.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Install, mount, and configure hardware including televisions, computer monitors, printers, workstations, and related peripherals throughout healthcare facilities.

  • Support technology deployment projects in patient rooms, nursing stations, administrative offices, and clinical areas.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, connectivity, and installation issues.

  • Coordinate installation schedules with IT teams, department leaders, and clinical staff to minimize operational disruptions.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and equipment replacements as needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, asset information, and service activities.

  • Track inventory, equipment movement, and installation materials.

  • Travel to satellite clinics and healthcare facilities throughout the Atlanta metro area to support deployment activities.

  • Follow all healthcare, safety, and infection-control protocols while working in clinical environments.


Qualifications
 

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware installation, desktop support, field service, or IT deployment projects.

  • Experience installing and configuring monitors, printers, displays, workstations, and other end-user technology.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation and installation procedures.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
     

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar technical certifications.

  • Experience working in healthcare, hospital, or clinical environments.

  • Knowledge of low-voltage cabling, structured cabling, or audiovisual (AV) installations.

  • Familiarity with healthcare technology systems and electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) environments.

  • Experience supporting large-scale hardware refresh or deployment projects.
