    Job Title: Installation Manager - AV Integration

    Location: Melbourne, FL

    Salary: $65,000-$85,000 plus annual bonus

    Summary

    The organization is seeking an Audio Visual Installation Manager to own and lead its AV/IT Installation department, spanning design, installation, service, and purchasing. This is a department-level leadership role centered on quality, profitability, safety, and customer satisfaction, with significant growth potential including a path toward business ownership tied to performance and leadership ability. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, a proven background in audio-visual systems and construction, an entrepreneurial mindset, and alignment with the organization's core values.

    Reports to: Operations Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and oversee the AV/IT Installation department end-to-end, including design, installation, service, and purchasing functions.
    • Lead the Installation department team directly, driving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals through accountability, coaching, and performance management.
    • Coordinate, prioritize, and allocate personnel, equipment, and resources across all active installation projects to support department-wide efficiency and on-time delivery.
    • Build, develop, and lead high-performing installation teams, fostering professional growth, accountability, technical excellence, and ongoing training.
    • Serve as an escalation point for customer matters that rise above day-to-day project management.
    • Identify department-level risks related to staffing, resourcing, purchasing, and service capacity, resolving issues proactively and communicating status to leadership.
    • Own department-wide process improvement by implementing and maintaining EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) processes, operational workflows, and performance metrics.
    • Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure department resourcing aligns with project scopes of work and site-level requirements.

    Required Qualifications

    • 4+ years in a supervisory or management role coordinating installers, subcontractors, and clients.
    • 10+ years of experience in Audio Visual installation and construction methodology.
    • Strong understanding of Audio Visual and low-voltage systems.
    • Strong understanding of IT networks and standards.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Adaptability to evolving technology and changing project requirements.
    • Proficiency with MIS tools such as ERP, BMS, CRM, and MS Office.
    • Working knowledge of project management best practices and strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to drive a company-provided fleet vehicle.
    • Ability to load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 35 pounds.

    Preferences

    • CTS or CTS-I certification.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a relevant technical degree.
