Job Summary
The Install Electrician is responsible for the electrical scope of HVAC and equipment installations. They run circuits for AC installs, install and wire electrical service panels, and make final equipment connections — completing every installation safely, to code, and to Signature’s quality standards. The Install Electrician works closely with the HVAC install teams and the Electrical Manager to deliver timely, professional installations, and provides hands-on guidance to apprentices working alongside them.
Duties & Responsibilities
Run circuits and pull wiring for air conditioning and equipment installations
Install, wire, and upgrade electrical service panels and disconnects
Make final electrical connections to installed equipment and verify safe, proper operation
Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical and building codes and passes inspection
Adhere to all safety protocols on every job site
Coordinate with HVAC install crews on staging, timing, and job requirements
Provide on-the-job guidance and training to electrician apprentices
Maintain tools, materials, and vehicle stock, and keep a clean, safe work area
