Inspector I
The following describes in general terms the purpose and scope of the position. To ensure product compliance to all engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and customer purchase order requirements. Performs inspection functions associated with machined parts and assemblies per written inspection instructions and/or supervision direction

Job Summary
Be team oriented with an understanding of continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform dimensional and visual inspection of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable work instructions, engineering drawings and specifications.
Be familiar with and accurately utilize basic precision measuring instruments.
Be familiar with and use common inspection and quality system processes.
Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
Performs other duties as assigned including leading projects and participation in project committees.
