Our Inside Sales Support Specialist is the key point of contact for our Account Managers to support both new and existing customers. This position plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service that builds trust and long-term relationships. Working in close collaboration with Account Managers, youll help manage the entire sales cycle and coordination of internal departments. This role blends customer and internal interactions, ensuring smooth operations through accurate quoting, order processing, project flow and data management. If youre detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about supporting sales success, this is a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic team. This is a full-time, onsite role based in our Princeton, NJ office and does not require any business travel.
Your role
- Processing sample requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Preparing quotations, contracts and price agreements quickly in collaboration with Pricing Team and Account Managers
- Keeping system tracking up to date with all relevant data inputs
- Continuously updating customer master data.
- Ensuring an optimum exchange of information within the division and with the interfaces.
- Supporting Sales and customers during entire Lead-to-Order process, including Opportunity management Requests for Information (RFI).
- Fulfilling administrative tasks to support Account Managers, including Forecast entry and New Product set ups.
- Proactively managing any customer overdues.
Salary Range - $75,000 90,000
The compensation range provided reflects the expected base compensation only and does not include potential bonuses, incentive plans, or benefits. An individuals final compensation offer will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to education level, relevant experience, training, and geographic location.
Your Profile:
- College Degree
- 2 - 5 years of experience in sales operations or sales support, ideally within the Food & Beverage, or ingredient industry
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical capability
- Operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment with full control and responsibility of achieving business objectives
