Inside Sales Specialist - HVAC
Location - Middletown, CT
Salary - $100,000 base plus commission and profit sharing
We are seeking an experienced and driven Inside Sales Specialist to join our client's team in Middletown, CT team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for contractor customers helping them source the right products, prepare accurate quotes, and keep their projects moving. What you'll do
- Sales & customer service: Answer incoming calls and welcome contractors, providing product recommendations and technical guidance to support their projects.
- Order management: Accurately enter and process sales orders, handle warranty claims, and manage product returns in a timely and professional manner.
- Quoting & sourcing: Prepare equipment and material quotes, perform project takeoffs, and source specialized HVAC parts to meet customer specifications.
- Sales & inventory: Support day-to-day sales activity, maintain an organized and well-merchandised showroom, and assist with inventory control and restocking.
- Relationship management: Build and nurture strong relationships with contractors to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty.
What we're looking for
- Prior experience in a sales/customer facing role in HVAC industry required
- Strong product knowledge or the ability to learn HVAC equipment and materials quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills you enjoy talking with people and solving problems
- Attention to detail when entering orders, processing returns, and preparing quotes
- Ability to multitask in a busy counter environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- A team-first attitude and a genuine commitment to outstanding customer service
