Buckman Agency is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Remote Claims & Policy Support Specialist.

In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our clients while helping them navigate policy changes, claims-related questions, and service needs. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and committed to delivering an outstanding customer experience.


We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Insurance industry experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.


This is a fully remote position offering opportunities for growth, ongoing training, and advancement within our agency.

Salary Range: $45000.00 - $55000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Engage with Clients: Handle both inbound and outbound calls to provide exceptional service and offer insurance solutions tailored to each clients needs.

Personal Lines Insurance: Quote and sell personal lines of insurance, ensuring clients are fully informed about their options and coverage.


Develop Financial Services Opportunities: Identify and cultivate opportunities for offering financial services, adding value to clients' portfolios.


Build Strong Relationships: Develop lasting relationships with clients by consistently delivering outstanding service and addressing their unique needs.


Manage Cancellations: Address and manage cancellations due to non-payment, working proactively to retain clients and provide payment solutions when possible.


Claims Support & Follow-Up: Act as a liaison for clients who are experiencing delays or lack of communication from their claims representative. Address any questions or concerns they may have after filing a claim, ensuring they receive the support they need for a smooth claims process.


Insurance Reviews & Coverage Optimization: Conduct regular insurance reviews with clients, identifying potential gaps in coverage and recommending cost-effective solutions to enhance their protection.


Onboard New Customers: Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new customers, guiding them through the process and setting them up for long-term success.


Customer Follow-Up: Follow up with clients who have contacted the national call center, ensuring their inquiries are addressed and their needs are met.


Manage Communication Channels: Oversee and respond to client inquiries through the company's text line via Hearsay, ensuring quick and efficient responses.


Requirements

Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and text communication.

Assist clients with policy changes, updates, and endorsements.

Support customers throughout the claims process by answering questions and providing timely follow-up.

Conduct claim outreach and follow-up, including total loss communications.

Process Evidence of Insurance (EOI) requests and other policy-related documentation.

Assist with company transfers and policy servicing needs.

Manage customer reviews and retention-related activities.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and completed tasks.

Monitor and respond to emails, work items, and customer inquiries in a timely manner.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Stay current on agency procedures, insurance products, and carrier guidelines.

Meet productivity, service, and quality expectations while working independently in a remote environment.
