Smith Davis Insurance is seeking a highly organized, results driven Inside Sales Representative
to manage inbound opportunities, quoting, and new business development across personal and
commercial lines.
This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who thrives in a structured environment,
can manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and takes ownership of moving prospects
from first contact to bind.
This role focuses primarily on inbound inquiries, referrals, and agency generated opportunities,
with some proactive outreach to prospects and existing clients as needed.
Salary Range: $40000.00 - $55000.00 per year

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to inbound inquiries and referral opportunities
Conduct needs analysis and coverage discussions
Prepare and present accurate quotes across multiple carriers
Follow up consistently to move prospects toward a decision
Coordinate with Account Managers, producers, and carriers
Maintain organized pipeline and activity records
Deliver a professional client experience from first contact through binding

Consistent new business production
Organized pipeline management and disciplined follow up
Accurate coverage recommendations and documentation
Ability to prioritize multiple active opportunities
Positive collaboration with service staff and leadership
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Active Property and Casualty insurance license or ability to obtain quickly
Prior insurance agency experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Self-motivated with a high level of accountability
Ability to manage deadlines without constant supervision
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Personal lines and or commercial lines quoting experience
Familiarity with multiple carrier platforms
Prior inside sales, account management, or producer support role
Independent agency experience a plus
