Qualified applicants should possess a knowledge of the building industry, be able to multi-task, be self-motivated and work in a highly fast paced environment.
Position summary but not limited to:
- Negotiating prices and placing orders with outside vendors
- Communicate with customers & appropriate staff regarding changes to delivery schedules
- Work with walk in customers and pull small orders
- Processing order payments when required
- Generate price quotes to customers
- Maintain showroom and personal workstation area in a neat & organized manner
- Quickly helping to solve customer complaints and problems
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Support outside sales
- Interacting with vendors and participate in product training
Education and or Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Strong computer skills
- Experience in construction and building supply industry or product sales experience
