Job Title: Inside Sales Engineer, Nuclear
Location: Oak Ridge, TN
Type: Direct Hire
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Responsibilities

  • Review requests for quotations/ proposals (RFQs/RFPs) to generate quotations and formal proposals.
  • Enter orders upon receipt and ensure requirements match the proposal/quotation.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, returns, products, shipment information, etc.
  • Initiate and follow up on appropriate actions based on customer needs.
  • Process RFQs and purchase orders (POs).
  • Communicate with suppliers on customer issues, delivery instructions, priority changes, expediting orders, and special requirements.
  • Generate analytical reports to track demands and orders.
  • Perform sourcing for required parts as needed.
  • Review drawings and schematics for select parts/equipment.
  • Understand regulatory requirements for procurement tasks.
  • Obtain final procurement approvals following required procedures.
  • Understand the technical requirements of purchase orders or contracts to ensure documentation is complete.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field preferred; 1-3 years of experience in the Nuclear industry preferred.
  • Experience in lieu of degree acceptable.
  • Knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, diplomatic and direct style.
  • Strong accountability and results-orientation.
  • High energy, quick reaction to situations, and decisiveness.
  • High integrity and professional presence.
