OverviewThis role blends inside sales, proactive outreach, and customer service into a single customer-facing position. You will act as a dedicated account manager for Tesla owners, guiding them from first inquiry through build completion while coordinating internally to ensure a world‑class experience.You are the connective tissue between the customer, sales, operations, and fulfillment teams.Core ResponsibilitiesSales & OutreachUse CRM religiously (Close.io experience strongly preferred) to track every interaction, follow-up, and opportunityFollow up on inbound leadsIntroduce newly released products relevant to their vehicle or buildConvert inquiries into booked appointments, orders, and long‑term customer relationshipsUpsell and cross‑sell appropriately based on customer goals, vehicle use, and build stageMaintain pipeline hygiene, deal stages, and accurate notes in CRMAccount Management & Customer ExperienceAct as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accountsGuide customers through complex Tesla builds (wheels, suspension, aero, brakes, off‑road, etc.)Set clear expectations around pricing, timelines, lead times, and installation sequencingProactively communicate order status updates and delays before customers askManage high‑touch, high‑value builds with multiple parts, vendors, and timelinesDe‑escalate issues and “put out fires” with professionalism and ownershipOperations & Internal CoordinationWork closely with Operations, Warehouse, and Install teams to:Confirm inventory availabilityTrack shipping and delivery statusCoordinate install schedules, drop‑offs, and pickupsEnsure orders are entered correctly and completely to avoid downstream errorsFlag potential issues early (backorders, delays, incompatibilities) and communicate solutionsMaintain alignment between what was sold and what is being fulfilledTesla Expertise & Brand RepresentationUnderstand Tesla models, trims, generations, and common upgrade pathsSpeak fluently about Tesla culture, ownership mindset, and performance expectationsRepresent the brand with confidence, credibility, and enthusiasmEducate customers rather than “hard sell” them.
