Inpatient Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA)

Senior Doc, part of Brigade Health, is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing Inpatient Palliative Care team. This role focuses on providing hospital-based palliative care consultations, symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and support for patients with serious or chronic illnesses.

What You'll Do

  • Provide inpatient palliative care consultations
  • Manage complex symptoms and pain control
  • Lead goals-of-care and advance care planning discussions
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, nurses, social workers, and care teams
  • Support patients and families through serious illness and care transitions

Qualifications

  • Active California NP or PA license
  • Strong interdisciplinary team leadership skills 
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities 
  • Comfortable with home visits and community driving 
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and care teams  
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating care across settings 

Preferred

  • Current hospital privileges or credentialing within Orange County, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Riverside, San Bernardino, Temecula Valley, or San Diego hospitals
