Summary Reviews medical record documentation to assign ICD-10-CM diagnoses and ICD-10-PCS procedures as well as present on admission indicators to accurately calculate the MS-DRG and APR-DRG for inpatient encounters. Ensures proper coding, billing, and compliance according to regulatory guidelines as well as organizational policies. Will work closely with the Clinical Documentation Specialist Team.

Education TechTrade Certification Associates Degree CCS RHIT RHIA Certification strongly preferred Education specialization: Medical Records Technology

Experience Three Years minimum - inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility

Additional Information Full-time Tuesday - Saturday REMOTE DadeBrowardPalm Beach preferred but not required Must be a FLORIDA resident
