PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Director of Innovation and Technology is a dynamic leader charged with engaging the WCSD in strategic planning to implement a vision for all areas of technology and communication. The Director will support all staff in the utilization and implementation of innovative instructional practice and the integration of digital tools to support teaching and learning. They will supervise the information technology program including network coordination, data processing, technology management systems, and program development to ensure that educators and learners have the opportunity to utilize existing and evolving technologies. Providing this visionary leadership will engage school leaders to develop practices that empower every learner and build capacity in a way that inspires teaching and learning.
