Injection Molding Technician

• 7–10+ years of hands-on injection molding technician experience
• Strong experience with mold setup, changeovers, and startups
• Ability to remove, install, and troubleshoot moldsExtensive machine troubleshooting and repair experience
• Experience working in a plastic manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Process Technician experience
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience leading or mentoring technicians

Equipment Experience Preferred

• Injection molding machines
• Robots, pickers, and end-of-arm tooling
• Chillers
• Temperature controllers (Thermolators)
• Hot runner systems
• Valve gate control systems

• Set up, start, and optimize injection molding machines
• Perform mold installations, changeovers, and startups
• Troubleshoot molding processes, machine issues, and production defects
• Respond to machine alarms and resolve downtime quickly
• Perform preventative maintenance on molds and equipment
• Inspect molded parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
• Partner with Quality and Engineering teams to address manufacturing issues
• Train and mentor junior technicians as needed
• Support overall production efficiency and product quality
