What you’ll do
Complete mold installations, changeovers, color changes, and machine start-ups
Dial in processes to hold tight tolerances on precision parts
Operate and coordinate with 5-axis and 6-axis robotic take-out systems
Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and vision systems for in-process and final checks
Diagnose and resolve molding defects (shorts, flash, splay, color variation, dimensional issues)
Perform basic preventive maintenance on molds and auxiliary equipment
Capture activity and process data in SAP or similar systems
Uphold safety, cleanroom, and quality standards at all times
Must-haves
2+ years of injection molding or mold setup experience
Hands-on background with mold changes, set-ups, and process adjustments
Mechanical troubleshooting mindset and strong problem-solving ability
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand through 12-hour shifts
Blueprint reading proficiency and skilled use of micrometers and calipers
Basic math and computer literacy
High school diploma or GED
Nice-to-haves
Background in medical molding, precision plastics, or cleanroom production
Experience with robotic take-out systems or in-mold sensors
