As the Oncology Nurse Director, you"ll serve as the central hub for patient care coordination, helping patients navigate diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and supportive care with confidence and continuity.
Clinical Leadership & Care Coordination
You will:
Coordinate all clinical care within the oncology clinic to maximize:
Patient safety
Quality outcomes
Patient satisfaction
Staff engagement and satisfaction
Utilize the nursing process:
Assessment
Diagnosis
Planning
Implementation
Evaluation
Lead and support:
EPIC In Basket communication
Order entry coordination
Patient education
Individualized care planning
Appointment coordination and follow-up
Coordinate transitions across services including:
Medical Oncology
Radiation Oncology
Surgical Oncology
