The Infrastructure Program Director is responsible for leading large-scale infrastructure programs across the organization, ensuring alignment with business strategy, operational excellence, and delivery of high-quality IT infrastructure services. This role oversees multiple projects spanning data centers, cloud transformation, networks, security, and enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure programs across multiple domains (cloud, network, compute, storage, workplace, etc.)
Manage program scope, timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure successful outcomes
Establish and enforce governance frameworks, program management standards, and best practices
Drive program reporting, executive communication, and stakeholder alignment
Define and execute infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational goals
Lead digital transformation initiatives such as cloud migration, hybrid cloud adoption, and infrastructure modernization
Identify opportunities for automation, cost optimization, and service improvement
Act as the primary liaison between IT, business units, vendors, and senior leadership
Build strong relationships with executives and influence decision-making
Present regular updates on program status, risks, and achievements
Own and manage large program budgets (CapEx and OpEx)
Ensure cost efficiency and ROI realization across infrastructure investments
Track financial performance and optimizing resource allocation
Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and compliance standards
Drive business continuity and disaster recovery preparedness
Manage strategic vendor relationships and contracts
Oversee outsourcing partners and service providers
Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met
Lead cross-functional teams of program managers, project managers, and technical leads
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance
Required Skills
PMP (Project Management Professional)
Data centers and hybrid infrastructure
ITIL or similar frameworks
Knowledge on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred Skills
Exposure to hybrid cloud environments
Vendor management expertise
Experience in Infrastructure reliability
