Position Overview
This role is responsible for building and operating a secure, scalable AWS foundation while ensuring reliable application delivery through modern CI/CD and observability practices. The engineer will focus on infrastructure automation, container orchestration, environment management, and platform performance.

Required Technical Skills

• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or AWS CDK
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, networking, and security groups
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration using ECS with Fargate or EKS
• CI/CD pipeline development with GitHub Actions, including promotion across dev, stage, and prod environments and artifact management
• Experience with PostgreSQL (pgvector preferred) or a managed vector database solution
• Monitoring and observability using CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry, including structured logging and distributed tracing
• Authentication and authorization using OIDC with an enterprise identity provider or API gateway (experience with Okta or Microsoft Entra is preferred)

Core Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain AWS landing zone components, including secrets management and environment promotion workflows
• Implement and support automated integrations such as GitHub webhook processing for indexing and downstream services
• Define and manage logging, metrics, alerting, and cost optimization strategies, along with operational runbooks
• Create performance benchmarks and develop load testing frameworks to validate platform scalability and reliability
