Infrastructure Engineer (Hybrid)

We're hiring an Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.

Work Authorization: U.S. citizens and Green Card holders only. Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• 8 years of hands-on experience building or supporting IT infrastructure (servers and/or networks)
• Application design experience
• Cisco ACI and GitHub experience for Software Defined Networks
• Nice to have: skilled in multiple disciplines of Windows Server, RHEL, OpenShift, BIGIP, Cisco, Telephony systems, IBM/Hitachi SAN/NAS storage

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze solution designs and infrastructure requirements
• Assess infrastructure impacts on networks and servers
• Validate connectivity requirements
• Create deployment/build documentation
• Coordinate with multiple IT teams
• Support deployment planning and implementation activities
• Participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Ensure compliance with Architecture and Security standards

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree

The hourly rate for this position is $49.12.
