Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities for large and complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules. This role involves strategic thinking, conflict resolution, and collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence project outcomes and evaluate risks early during pre-construction phases.
  • Identify and monitor coordination points at multiple levels.
  • Arbitrate on-site conflicts between contractors.
  • Lead commissioning activities as outlined in specifications and codes.
  • Oversee the overall QA/QC program and project logistics.
  • Guide and support Superintendents and Assistants in managing issues.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration with project superintendents, contractors, clients, consultants, and team members.
  • Ensure all field activities, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage relations with relevant municipal bodies regarding inspection issues.
  • Share field lessons learned with other projects.
  • Contribute to developing logistics and field interface requirements.
  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities through installation.
  • Monitor safety, quality, and schedule in the field while ensuring compliance with contract documents and standards.
  • Coordinate and interface with various studios, operations, security, contractors, vendors, and governmental agencies.

Leadership Authority:

  • Participate in the hiring process for internal and external resources.
  • Manage staff through performance plans, providing leadership, mentoring, coaching, and guidance.
  • Lead project teams, including consultants, staff extensions, and contractors.
  • Handle conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Implement objectives such as safety and intellectual property management.

Technical Skills:

  • High school degree or equivalent, with two years of undergraduate schooling in a related field.
  • Applicable technical certifications related to the role, including OSHA 30, AED/CPR, Stop the Bleed, and H4/H5 Risks.
  • Strong organizational and tracking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in conflict management and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Competence in using Office and project-related software such as BIM 360, Bluebeam, and project management platforms.
  • Familiarity with additional software such as P6 scheduling, AutoCAD, Revit, and Netpoint.

Experience:

  • Minimum of seven years of field experience in applicable site development (attractions, commercial, residential, retail, or resort projects) or seven to ten years of relevant project field experience.

Communication and Influence:

  • High influence in communication, collaboration, and partnership with clients, contract administration, project managers, architects, consultants, and team members.
  • Coordinate site security and safety.
  • Manage direct reports effectively.
