We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team and contribute to this mission.Manages the day‑to‑day responsibilities of the ITS department. Major responsibilities include managing the ITS staff, leading ITS/Companywide initiatives, keeping the department compliant, and handling the annual budget.Your responsibilities will include:Works with the executive team to set the ITS strategy for the company.Manages ITS Department in an efficient and orderly fashion.Supervises the staff of the ITS Department including scheduling.Provides work direction and performance feedback to staff. Coach, develop, and mentor employees to maximize performance.Establishes and manages the ITS budget for the fiscal year.Analyzes software and hardware needs for the organization.Oversees and facilitates the installation and maintenance of IT & phone systems, hardware, and software.Identifies and recommends upgrades and changes to hardware and software, maintaining efficient and effective operations in the organization.Assists and oversees the technical support and helpdesk roles, ensuring effective and helpful support is provided to end users.Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in information technology, alerting senior staff of the effects widespread software and hardware revisions, changes, and discontinuation will have on the organization's systems and operations.Coordinates and schedules large‑scale software and hardware installations.Ensures ITS‑related projects and tasks are completed within specifications, on time, and within budget.Ensures all ITS assets and data are properly documented and secured.Ensures safety regulations are followed and properly documented to provide a safe work environment.Other Duties and Responsibilities:Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.Safety ProtocolStop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.Correct or report any observed safety hazards.Support safety policies and programs.Supervisory Responsibilities:Provides leadership and direction to their team.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable lawsInterviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; appraises performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves problems.This list of duties and responsibilities is not all‑inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.Qualifications:Education / Experience / Certifications:4-year college degree in IT related field or relevant experience5+ years ITS experience on both the hardware and software sides2‑3 years of heading up an ITS department1‑2 years of supervisor experience (preferred)Skills Required:5+ years ITS experience on both the hardware and software sides2‑3 years of heading up an ITS department1‑2 years of supervisor experience (preferred)At Ourvita, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and engaging work environment that fosters growth and development.
