We are looking for an Information Technologist & Alternate Site Manager to support The Department of Defense, US Army, Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM) G6, to provide Information Technology (IT) services and Digital Trainer support for the CASCOM and its subordinate organizations, which include the Army Logistics University (ALU), and the Ordnance (OD), Quartermaster (QM), and Transportation Corps (TC) schools.

The G-6 mission is comprehensive and includes computer and IT support for Department of the Army (DA) civilians, contractors, and permanent party military personnel.

The Alternate Site Manager/Information Technician IV serves in a dual role. As the Alternate Site Manager, this position acts on behalf of the team when the Site Manager is absent and has full authority to make daily contract decisions related to performance, staffing, issue resolution, and customer coordination. As an Information Technician IV, this position provides senior-level technical support for information technology systems, desktop and laptop environments, user support, hardware and software troubleshooting, system configuration, account support, and IT service operations.

Responsibilities: • Act on behalf of the Contractor when the Site Manager is unavailable or absent. • Serve as the Contractor's alternate point of contact for Government leadership, COR, and designated officials. • Assist the Site Manager with daily contract operations, staffing oversight, work assignments, and performance monitoring. • Help ensure all contract requirements are performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and Government expectations, standards, and professional conduct expectations. • Assist with preparing reports, tracking deliverables, documenting issues, and coordinating corrective actions. • Support workforce scheduling, task prioritization, coverage planning, and continuity of operations. • Maintain awareness of contract requirements and assume management responsibility when delegated by the Site Manager.

IV Information Technologist Duties: • Provide senior-level technical support for end users, desktop systems, laptops, peripherals, software, and network-connected devices. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, and user access issues. • Install, configure, image, update, and maintain approved computer systems and applications. • Support Microsoft Windows desktop and laptop environments, Microsoft Office/M365 applications, email, printers, and standard business systems. • Assist users via phone, remote support tools, in-person support, and on-site troubleshooting. • Perform system diagnostics, ticket resolution, escalation support, and root-cause analysis for recurring IT issues. • Maintain accurate documentation of trouble tickets, resolutions, system changes, and user support actions. • Support account management activities, password resets, device setup, peripheral configuration, and user onboarding/offboarding tasks. • Coordinate with network administrators, system administrators, cybersecurity staff, and Government IT personnel to resolve higher-level technical issues.

Required Skills and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. • CompTIA Security+ Certification. • Experience supporting a DoD, Army, or Federal IT environment. • Experience serving in a leadership role and act on behalf of the Site Manager when required. • Minimum of five years of related experience in IT support, technical operations, contract support, or team leadership. • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, imaging tools, remote support tools, Remedy, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems. • Experience providing desktops, laptops, peripheral, software, and user support in an enterprise environment. • Experience using ticketing systems to document, track, escalate, and resolve IT service requests. • Experience coordinating with customers, technical teams, and management to resolve operational issues.

Required Clearance • Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
