INTRODUCTION
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Information & Systems (VP of IS), the Information Systems Senior Manager (IS Senior Manager) is the operational leader responsible for ensuring Unity's technology and Epic environment are stable, secure, and optimized for clinical and administrative workflows. The role oversees day-to-day IT operations across 20+ sites, manages technical and Epic support teams, drives service delivery excellence, and partners with clinical, operational, and Epic leadership to support Unity's mission as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).The IS Senior Manager serves as the VP of IS primary operational executor translating strategy into action, enforcing standards, and ensuring that IT and Epic services meet performance, security, and compliance expectations.

SUPERVISORY CONTROLS
The position reports to the Vice President of Information & Systems. This position supervises the IS Managers.

The position abides by all rules and regulations set forth by applicable licensing and regulatory bodies, as well as UHC policies and procedures.
PERSONAL CONTACTS
The position requires contact with staff at all levels throughout the organization. There are also external organization relationships that may be a part of the work of this individual. Primary contact is with the employees of UHC Administrative Staff, UHC Health Centers, UHC Informatics staff, UHC IT staff, but may also include vendors, benefits providers, and local business establishments.

OTHER SIGNIFICANT FACTS
Although the position is assigned a specific shift, this position may be assigned alternate shifts to address the needs of Unity Health Care.
RISKS
The position involves everyday risk and discomforts, which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meetings, training rooms, and other UHC health Care Sites. The work area is adequately lit, heated, and ventilated. All medical services shall be provided according to medically accepted community standards of care. The employee shall provide evidence of a recent (within the past twelve (12) months) health assessment that includes a PPD and/or chest x-ray results.
