E-logic is seeking an Information Specialist with deep expertise in federal travel operations to support U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) personnel. This role focuses heavily on mastering and applying Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) to ensure compliant, seamless agency travel, alongside broader records and information management duties. You will also assist with the physical setup of collaborative spaces and provide live AV support as needed. This position is 100% onsite at USTDA Headquarters in Arlington, VA; telework is not available.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and review the planning, calculation, and formal submission of official travel itineraries for agency personnel in complete adherence to strict FTR regulations.
- Audit post-travel expenditure vouchers, validating receipts, per diem structures, and standard agency mileage logs.
- Organize, maintain, and verify the integrity of the department's digital travel information databases and physical trip tracking logs.
- Conduct regular program reviews to ensure travel accounting data lines up with agency fiscal allocations.
- Assist the broader administrative support team with physical room conversions, seat mapping, and hardware preparation for incoming training modules.
- Deliver secondary, basic AV tech support, fixing device sync or camera tracking issues prior to live broadcasts.
Requirements
- Secret Clearance is mandatory.
- 5+ years of administrative management or informational compliance experience.
- College degree preferred (ideally in Business, Public Administration, or Information Management).
- Prior exposure to or fundamental mastery of the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) framework.
