Title: Information Security Specialist
Location: Irving Texas 75038, Hybrid, onsite 60%+ of the time
Duration: 6+ Months contract with possible extension
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Demonstrated hands on experience with Data Theorem, including interpretation of findings related to vulnerabilities, privacy exposure, third party SDK behavior, and regulatory risk. (Priority)
- Strong working knowledge of the OWASP Mobile Top 10, with practical experience applying these risks to real world iOS and Android applications.
- Deep understanding of mobile security concepts such as insecure local storage, insecure communications, authentication and authorization weaknesses, cryptographic implementation issues, reverse engineering, and code tampering.
- Experience operating in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services), with the ability to frame mobile findings in terms of risk, compensating controls, and audit defensibility.
- Proven ability to communicate complex mobile security issues clearly and professionally to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and consulting skills, with the ability to translate scanner output into enterprise ready guidance and reporting.
MDM / MAM Advisory & Alignment: Assess and advise on Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) controls for mobile applications handling bank confidential and regulated data, ensuring enforcement of enterprise mobile security standards to prevent data leakage, fraud, and unauthorized access. This includes app isolation and sandboxing, strong encryption for data at rest and in use, selective remote wipe (including kill signal support for non MDM/MAM apps), jailbreak/root detection, and risk based conditional access across both corporate owned and BYOD environments
• UEM/MDM/Intune: Quarterly Security Configurations Audits QC with PowerBI
• MDM Support: Assessing convenience apps for corporate mobility devices; testing activities.
• Data Theorem: Provide SME guidance to remediation team and application owners to help remediate discovered vulnerabilities.
• Data Theorem Enhancements i.e., Improvements, asset tags
