Job Title: Network Engineer (Security Automation & ZTNA)
Location: Irving, TX (Preferred) | Charlotte, NC | Chandler, AZ | Minneapolis, MN

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to help drive a large-scale Network Security Automation and Zero Trust transformation initiative. This role will focus on modernizing VPN, Firewall, Proxy, and Network Access Control (NAC) environments through automation, Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) architecture.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with network security technologies, automation frameworks, Python scripting, Infrastructure as Code, and enterprise firewall platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement automated Network Security solutions across Firewall, Proxy, and NAC platforms
Build Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) workflows for security infrastructure deployments
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
Automate configuration management, compliance validation, remediation, and lifecycle operations using Ansible
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for network and security deployments
Integrate and automate Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Broadcom Cloud Proxy environments
Build orchestration workflows using Temporal, ORCA, or similar technologies
Integrate Nautobot as the source of truth for topology and configuration management
Develop APIs and automation services using Apigee
Implement monitoring and observability using Grafana and Prometheus

Required Skills

Strong experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet Firewalls
Expertise in Firewall Administration, Security Policy Management, and Network Security Automation
Experience with Broadcom Cloud Proxy or enterprise proxy technologies
Advanced Python scripting for automation
Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience
Experience using Ansible for configuration management and automation
Knowledge of ZTNA, SASE, and Network Access Control (NAC) environments
Ability to work independently within complex enterprise environments
