We are hiring Information Security Analyst Specialist! Role: Cybersecurity Engineering Lead
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client Location: McLean, VA (Onsite)
Position Description:
Step into a pivotal leadership role as a Cybersecurity Engineering Lead, where you'll drive enterprise-wide security engineering efforts and advance the future of privileged access, automation, and endpoint protection. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of hands-on technical depth and strategic decision-making, bringing strong experience in PAM, security engineering, AWS, and automation to a fast-moving environment.
You'll guide the enhancement of credential management and endpoint security technologies, champion automation initiatives, and provide advanced technical support across complex systems. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll influence security strategy, ensure compliance with frameworks like NIST, and help introduce emerging technologies; including AI/ML-aligned security innovations. Your leadership will shape engineering standards, elevate team capability, and strengthen enterprise defenses.

Qualifications:
• 7+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, including 4+ years with PAM and credential management • Strong experience with AWS, Ansible, Python scripting, and automation • Proven leadership experience in technical or engineering lead roles • Expertise with JIT entitlements, zero-standing privileges, endpoint protection, and identity lifecycle tools • Experience with hybrid/multi-cloud PAM environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and AWS security concepts • Proficiency with Windows, Linux, databases, networking, firewalls, and VPNs • Familiarity with SEIM tools, malware protection, encryption technologies, and infrastructure security • Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible and Terraform • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize independently, and strong communication • CyberArk, Security certifications, AI/ML exposure are strongly preferred
