Job Title: Information Security Analyst - GRC

Location: Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ (Hybrid - 3x/week Onsite)

Contract Length: 12 months

Pay Rate: $41/hour - $43/hour

Role Overview

The Information Security Analyst 2 provides execution-focused governance and risk management support. This role supports policy compliance, security assessment remediation, control testing, reporting, and awareness activities. Success in the role requires precision, consistency, and strong follow-through, contributing directly to enterprise risk management and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support information security governance activities to improve compliance with Enterprise Information Security policies, processes, and standards.
• Assist with remediation of security assessment findings, including tracking, validation, evidence review, and follow-up.
• Support the review of assessment results and mitigating controls under guidance from more experienced staff.
• Participate in security control testing activities and consultation with application, governance, policy, and technical teams.
• Perform data aggregation, analysis, and reporting to support information security risk management.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and audit-defensible documentation and reporting artifacts.
• Update and maintain Jira tickets, including workflow status, comments, evidence, and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with peers, managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and meet defined governance outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 2+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. Additional experience required in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC), or IT Risk Management, particularly within regulated enterprise environments. Must have experience supporting security assessments, compliance reviews, and remediation activities.

Technical Skills: Required working knowledge of Jira for updating tickets, maintaining workflow hygiene, and documenting evidence. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and validation, and Microsoft PowerPoint for creating summaries and reporting materials is necessary. Experience with enterprise metrics and reporting platforms is also required.

Capabilities: Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to produce accurate, audit-ready work. Clear written and verbal communication skills suitable for technical and governance audiences are essential. The role requires the ability to follow established procedures and standards with consistency and manage assigned work independently while escalating appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Lists for tracking or evidence management.
• Knowledge of Power Automate for workflow or notification support.
• Exposure to information protection or data security.
• Prior audit or regulatory support experience.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $41.10 and $43.83 per hour. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
