The Infection Prevention Coordinator (PRN) provides leadership in implementing and managing infection control programs across multiple hospital settings, including acute care, behavioral health, and outpatient clinics. Responsibilities include surveillance, data analysis, policy development, staff education, regulatory compliance, and outbreak management to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role involves collaboration with various departments, oversight of reporting to health agencies, and participation in community and hospital committees. Candidates must have hospital experience, a bachelor's degree (preferably in Nursing, Microbiology, or Public Health), and clinical knowledge of infection control standards. Certification in Infection Control is preferred.
