This is a full-time position scheduled Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm. The pay is $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This is an onsite position at our center located: 450 W Welbourne Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789

Join our Welbourne family as an Infant Teacher, working with our littlest learners ages 6 weeks to 12 months! In this nurturing role, you'll help create a warm, engaging environment where babies can explore, grow, and thrive. You'll plan and lead playful, developmentally appropriate activities, support key milestones, and work closely with a caring team to ensure each child feels safe, loved, and ready for the world ahead.
What You’ll Do:
· Design and implement engaging curriculum based on early learning standards and developmentally appropriate practices
· Create nurturing, age-appropriate experiences that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
· Model best practices in infant care and guide classroom staff through mentoring and positive leadership
· Provide responsive care, including feeding, soothing, and routine diapering, following all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
· Foster strong, trusting relationships with infants and communicate regularly with families about daily care and developmental progress
· Ensure compliance with all Welbourne policies, licensing standards, and health/safety regulations
· Maintain accurate classroom records, including daily care logs, lesson plans, and developmental observations
· Commit to ongoing professional growth through continued education and a personal development plan
What We Need from You
- High school diploma / GED, or degree in a related field of study required
- FL DCF 45 hours required
- CDA is highly preferred

- Must clear a full level II DCF background check
- At least 1 year of professional early childhood training/experience
- CPR, First Aid, and Fire Extinguisher Certification completion within 30 days of employment
