Infant Teacher (Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience - Columbus Circle, New York, NY
Pay: $20-$24 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Infant Teacher - Early Learning Classroom
The Learning Experience - Columbus Circle is seeking a caring and experienced Infant Teacher to support children during their earliest stages of development. This role focuses on creating a nurturing classroom environment where infants build secure relationships and early communication skills through responsive caregiving and sensory exploration.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily routines for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months
Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and nap supervision
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
Observe and support developmental milestones
Communicate regularly with families regarding routines and progress
Follow New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
Qualifications
BA or AA in Early Childhood Education preferred, CDA accepted
Candidates with 5+ years of classroom experience and high school diploma considered
Prior infant classroom experience preferred
Strong understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving practices
Must meet New York State childcare licensing requirements
Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
