As an Infant Teacher, you will oversee the daily care and development of young children, creating a safe, engaging environment that fosters exploration and learning.
Responsibilities include supervising children, following safety regulations, assessing developmental needs, implementing approved lesson plans, and maintaining a well-kept classroom that encourages creativity and confidence. You will also participate in parent-teacher conferences, monitor behavior, and assist with classroom maintenance and school functions.
Ideal candidates should meet local licensing requirements, have prior teaching experience in early childhood, and possess knowledge of children’s social, emotional, and creative needs. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. For infant teachers, proper lifting techniques are required. A 2-year degree in early childhood or related field is preferred for infant and toddler teachers, with a 4-year degree and certification required for Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers.
