Job Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for industrial construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather project specifications and requirements.
• Analyze project drawings and blueprints to determine scope and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Track market trends and pricing for materials and labor to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
• Prepare and present cost analysis reports to support project decision-making.
• Maintain records of past project costs to improve the accuracy of future estimates.
• Assist in value engineering efforts to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in bid preparation and negotiation processes with vendors and subcontractors.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in industrial construction estimating within the business services industry.
• Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting construction documents.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to develop accurate cost projections.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• A focus on detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
