Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Shift Hours: 5:30am-2pm
Summary:
Paint parts and units and/or guide the loading of products onto the paint conveyor.
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper part flow, sequence, and quality to meet assembly line and customer requirements.
Hang parts and kits on the paint line in sequence according to direction from planning and scheduling department.
Operate lift and burn-off oven.
Set-up, operate, and maintain automatic powder booths and shut down paint line equipment.
Check completed parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and make necessary adjustments to meet quality goals.
Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary.
Adhere to all environmental, health, safety rules and regulations, and work instructions.
Assist team in achieving plant and department goals.
Assist with on-the-job training and continuous improvement.
Foster an environment that promotes company goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
3 months experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
Must be able to pass the Pulmonary Function Test to perform the functions of the job.
1 year experience in a light to medium industrial manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of basic shop math.
Preferred Skills:
Requires frequent standing and bending.
Must be able to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift 35-50 pounds.
Ability to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions.
Ability to use good judgment and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions.
