Are you an experienced industrial mechanical leader who can run projects, direct crews, work with customers, and still step into the field when needed?

We are hiring a Superintendent / Project Manager for a permanent, plant-based position in the Allentown, PA area. This is not a traveling superintendent role where you are constantly being sent to different states. You will report to the same industrial facility each day and oversee mechanical projects, maintenance work, installations, shutdowns, and service needs at the plant.

This position offers a strong mix of project management, supervision, administrative work, and hands-on field involvement. You will spend most of your time planning and managing the work, but you must also be willing and able to assist in the field when the job requires it.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Managing industrial mechanical projects from planning through completion
  • Providing daily leadership to foremen, millwrights, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Coordinating manpower, schedules, tools, equipment, and materials
  • Ordering materials and developing material lists
  • Completing light estimating and assisting with project pricing
  • Communicating with plant personnel, customers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Monitoring project costs, progress, safety, and quality
  • Completing timesheets, purchase order requests, reports, and other project documentation
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, specifications, and mechanical drawings
  • Troubleshooting and assisting with the repair, maintenance, and installation of industrial machinery
  • Supporting shutdowns, emergency work, weekend projects, and overtime assignments
  • Maintaining an organized, safe, and productive work environment
