Our client is a family-owned manufacturing company based in Chicago that produces chairs, barstools, and swivel components for residential and commercial use. Founded in the early 1900s,, it has evolved from a metal products business into a global supplier of customizable seating and one of the largest swivel manufacturers in the U.S!
Description
- Industrial engineering or similar technical degree preferred
- 3-5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing
- Experience with general fabrication - CNC, Lathes, mills, bending, presses, etc
- Familiarity with Tool and Die making
- Familiarity with quality control
- Strong Lean/CI experience
- Experience with wood, metal, and plastic fabrication a plus
- Exposure to electrical schematics a plus
Profile
A successful Industrial Manufacturing Engineer should have:
- A background in engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process optimization and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience working with manufacturing equipment and production workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Job Offer
- Base salary $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience level
