Industrial Maintenance Technician

Pay:Up to $34 hourly - Commensurate with experience and knowledge
Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Technician ensures that industrial machinery and equipment operate efficiently and safely by performing maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Move, assemble, install or dismantle machinery.
- Maintain and repair plant equipment, ensuring it functions properly.
- Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing operations.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to avoid breakdown.
- Unpack and assemble new equipment.
- Interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches.
- Review machine productivity, determine causes for downtime and suggest improvements and corrections, as well as develop new ways to improve functionality and efficiency.
- May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed.
- Operates specialized equipment such as fork-lift, aerial lift or crane as needed.
- Assist in other duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong Electrical experience Up to 480v
- PLC Troubleshooting - (programming would be a huge plus)
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of use of precision instruments.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- An associate degree in maintenance technology, related field, or an Industrial Maintenance Technician certificate is preferred.
- 7 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician focusing on hydraulics and electrical systems.
- Strong Electrical experience Up to 480v
- PLC Troubleshooting - (programming would be a huge plus)
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with hand and welding tools.
- Proficiency in pneumatics, mechanical schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with specialized equipment such as fork-lift, aerial lift or crane preferred.
