You arrive on the floor, scan the CMMS for work orders, and grab your tools. First up: a preventive maintenance check on a conveyor and its gearbox, followed by a quick calibration on a checkweigher to keep product quality on spec. Mid-shift, production calls—an oven fan motor is tripping. You isolate power using LOTO, diagnose the electrical fault, swap the motor, and document the fix before leading a packaging line changeover with sanitation close behind. Before the day ends, you mentor a Technician I through a pneumatic valve rebuild, then log recurring issues for root cause analysis and parts needs.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
