Industrial maintenance Tech

• Dependable/Timely with reliable transportation and driver’s license
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field or 3-5 years’ experience – in an industrial plant setting

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, step-up, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity to handle tools, operate machinery, and perform repetitive tasks, including reaching overhead.
• Capable of working in a manufacturing environment with varying and frequent high temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to chemicals or dust.

• Perform general and preventive maintenance for pumps, valves, PLC Controls, automation components, while following plant rules and sound safety practices.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to production equipment during regular work schedule and be available during afterhours and or weekends to make recommendations/repairs.
• Diagnose problems, replace and or repair equipment as required to maintain production.
• Assist maintenance department with installations, startups, and implementations of new 
  equipment and equipment upgrades.
• Ability to perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Familiar with centrifugal pumps, air diaphragm pumps, and automated valves.
• Must be able to read and understand P&ID diagrams, machine drawings, and electrical diagrams as needed in addition to interpreting equipment manuals.
• Forklift experience and training.
• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot PLC issues.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
