At 7:00 AM you’re reviewing the overnight CMMS queue, slotting preventive and predictive tasks, and dispatching work orders to the right craftsperson. By mid-morning, you’re shoulder-to-shoulder with your team, tracing an intermittent fault on a PLC-controlled conveyor using schematics and a multimeter. After lunch, you’re walking the floor—verifying that compressors, chillers, gearboxes, and robotic cells are running safely and efficiently—while coaching a technician through a hydraulic diagnosis. You wrap the day by updating equipment histories, closing out corrective actions, and reviewing reliability data with production and engineering to eliminate repeat failures.
